Chris Halpin – Managing Partner

After deciding that running a family business in Adelaide was not his cup of tea, Chris moved to Sydney in 2000, and due to a passion for real estate, started working with Century 21 Project Marketing. After 3 years, he became their leading salesman.

Needing a new challenge, Chris made the transition from real estate to mortgage broking in 2003. His job was to help property investors structure their finance to minimise risk and cost, while still gaining maximum tax deductions. After one year as a consultant he became a partner in Essential Financial Strategies Holdings, who were arranging finance for some of Sydney’s largest investment property companies. During this time Chris helped hundreds of people from first timers to seasoned investors build their investment property portfolios.

Forturity was formed in 2008 to assist clients with not only finance, but in locating high growth investment properties. “My goal is to proved a complete service to make investment not only successful, but easy. Rather than our clients having to wade through the endless investment options and then engage the services of a multitude of parties to make a purchase possible, I provide all the answers”.
Throughout Chris’ professional career, he has built a multimillion dollar property portfolio himself and using this experience, he helps our clients fast track the growth of their portfolios while avoiding common mistakes.

Forturity. . . What’s in a name? You’re about to register a new business name. So you go to the web to check availability of the ones that you have thought of and you like. You immediately realise that there are over 8 million business names registered in Australia. . . and all the names that you thought would be good are already taken.

What do you do? Well, you might do what we did and make up a new word. (Well technically you engage a professional company to do it for you!) Forturity was the result. Its a blend of some words that have great resonance with what we do and what we believe.

Words like:

  • Fortitude :strength of mind that enables one to endure adversity with courage
  • Fortune: a large amount of wealth or prosperity
  • Perpetuity: an annuity that has no definite end, or a stream of cash payments that continues forever.
  • Serendipity: good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries
  • Integrity: Adherence to a code of values; utter sincerity, honesty, candor; completeness
  • Acuity: clarity of vision

And basically, thats what we’re all about. Creating prosperity and ongoing income for our clients through a clear vision, hard work, sincerity and candor.
